Preferred provides full replacement coverage for manufacturing defects on your Owens Corning® shingles and all Owens Corning® roofing components for 50 years. This warranty includes a 10-year limited warranty on contractor workmanship.
The Preferred Protection Roofing System Limited Warranty* has up to a 50-year “non-prorated” period for both material defects and the labor to repair or replace them, whereas many standard warranties have a 10-year non-prorated warranty period. With the Preferred Protection Roofing System Limited Warranty,* you can rest easy knowing you have this coverage.
In addition, you will receive 10 years of workmanship protection. Meaning, if your roof is found to have an application error, Owens Corning Roofing will arrange to have it repaired, with labor, materials, tear-off and disposal costs all covered.
